~ If Mike Ruby is being honest, he fell in love with music because of John Mayer. "His lyrics pulled me in, and his musicianship kept me there forever," he says. It's something that took him from a successful jazz career through a pivot to singer-songwriter. After signing to a subsidiary of Universal Music at 19, Ruby moved to New York from his hometown Toronto and was soon recruited to play saxophone in Brooklyn-based synth-pop band St. Lucia. After opening slots with Ellie Goulding and playing festivals like Lollapalooza, Ruby got a taste of the pop world and wanted more. In just 4 years he learned to sing, write and play guitar professionally. Now, the multi-talented artist is ready to stand on his own, in his own way, touting a fresh take of the genre with sax-influenced pop. ~

~ Originally from small town New Brunswick, 24 year old Jaryd Stanley is ready for the big time. An acoustic guitar playing singer-songwriter at heart, the Toronto newcomer mixes elements of a many styles into his own songs. Inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, Carole King, Joel Plaskett, and many more, Jaryd's versatility is paramount in creating his sound. His debut EP/demo 'sixteen ten' (available across all platforms) was released in mid 2017 and led Jaryd to a successful debut year. Most recently, you may have seen him on CTV’s ‘The Launch’, as the “Fan Favourite” of CBC’s 2017 Searchlight competition as well as the 2017 Grand Prize Winner of Canada's Walk Of Fame Emerging Artists Program.
